Representatives from Russells will be attending UKREiiF this week in partnership with Marketing Manchester and the Rochdale Development Agency.
Bringing together local authorities, development agencies, private developers and occupiers, the new three-day annual conference is being held at Leeds Docks from May 16th to 17th.
Levelling up will be high on the agenda for speakers and panellists throughout the conference which aims to help people make the connections needed to ‘unlock sustainable, inclusive and transformational investment’.
Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham will headline Marketing Manchester’s Atom Valley: Making a Better Tomorrow event which is being held on Tuesday at the Canary Bar, Marketing Manchester’s base for the week.
Named an official Mayoral Development Zone, Atom Valley is being championed by Mr Burnham who wants to see a the boroughs of Rochdale, Oldham and Bury attract new investment for the benefit of local people.
The first scheme to start delivering on that vision is HPARK and the South Heywood Masterplan, which comprise 1,000 new homes, the newly opened link road, 1.6m sq ft employment space and new community facilities, and are being brought forward by Russell LDP
